Singapore Supermarket to Introduce RFID Trolley
Tuesday, March 18 2008

We hear Cold Storage, a Singapore supermarket chain, says it will introduce a 'technology-enabled' shopping trolley by the end of the year.

The trolley, which has been produced by Media Cart Asia, will be able to identify the shopper's location and profile via RFID and, as a result, will be able to display information such as product locations and targeted advertisements via an LCD screen on the front of the trolley.
