Contactless card firms still optimistic

Demand for contactless credit cards in the United States still seems to be rising, but the technology has not yet “exploded,” meaning more than 100 million cards being issued. The estimated contactless card total in the US market is closer to 30 million. Despite lower issuance than expected, the card issuers are still optimistic according to a report by the American Banker[end]
