METRO and Reva Team For RFID-Boosted Store Improvements
Think you’ve been hearing a lot about METRO Group lately?
Well, as of this morning, there’s more: Today Reva Systems, an RFID network infrastructure provider, announced that METRO Group is deploying Reva’s Tag Acquisition Processor (TAP) products in what’s being called the “largest production-scale RFID rollout in Europe.”
Initially encompassing about 200 locations of the sales brands Metro Cash & Carry, Real stores, and the METRO Group distribution centers, the rollout entails installing Reva’s technology at each location, according to reports.
