Brooks' New Reader Comes in Sleek, Compact Form Factor
Friday, June 1 2007

RFID system provider Brooks Automation is now offering its RFID HF reader in a compact, drama-free form factor (without complications, the vendor says).

The electronic RFID circuitry is housed in a package measuring about 11 x 7 cm, and works on a frequency of 13.56 MHz. A USB 2.0 interface
simply connects the RFID reader to a PC or laptop. This compactness and simplicity make the reader especially suitable for temporary use because you can install it and pack it away again fast.
