How many new military applications will advantage of RFID?

Lots, says a new report put out by IDTechEx – the value of sales of active RFID systems are set to hit $6.78 billion by 2016. Active RFID is said to be growing, with several applications already more than $100 million, and is responsible for more than 20 percent of all spent on RFID, thanks largely to U.S. military investments.
