TAGSYS and OTA Training Team Up For CompTIA Certification

Thursday, September 7, 2006 in News

TAGSYS, which specializes in item-level RFID applications, is teaming with OTA Training, provider of comprehensive vendor-neutral RFID industry education, to bring courses to the Northeastern U.S. technology community.

This fall, TAGSYS and OTA Training are offering the Computing Technology Industry Association’s (CompTIA) RFID+™ certification.

Why should you get yours?

According to a recent survey by CompTIA, 75 percent of technology companies said they do not believe there is a sufficient “pool of talent” in RFID technology to hire from.

The first training course, “A System’s Approach to RFID Implementation™,” will take place Sept. 26-28, at TAGSYS’ global headquarters in Cambridge, Mass. This intensive, three-day session is designed to provide RFID professionals with the necessary background to implement an RFID system, including knowledge of RF communication, RFID hardware functions, installation, connectivity, networking, and more. [end]
