RFID Worker Shortage Predicted

Hundreds of companies around the globe embarking on radio frequency identification (RFID) projects will soon face a shortage of workers proficient in the emerging technology, according to the trade group Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). The group said on Tuesday that it’s teaming up another group, the Association for Automatic Identification and Mobility, to certify people with RFID skills, such as hardware installation and data synching. RFID is a wireless tracking technology that proponents tout as the next big wave in information technology.”

Well the shortage is good for us, unless we have to go get certified in an overpriced corporate training program… [end]
