GAO 4-Port RFID reader for indoor and outdoor applications

GAO RFID introduced a 4-port ultra-high frequency RFID reader designed for both indoor and outdoor applications and compatible with both corporate IT infrastructures and sheltered outdoor environments.

The small form factor reader, model 236016, has Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability and has optional Wi-Fi network connectivity. It complies with EPC global Gen 2 (ISO 186000-6C) with digital rights management.

The 4-port UHF RFID reader features a max EPC ID length of up to 496 bits. Additionally, it has a maximum read distance of up to 30 ft with 6 dBi antenna and is capable of reading 400 tags per second in a typical read zone environment.

The reader has an IP52 protection rating and has a water and dust resistant design for industial, outdoor and rugged service requirements. [end]
