Recall expands RFID program

Monday, October 17, 2011

Perry Ellis, the international clothing designer and distributor, is using RFID tracking technology from Recall as an added layer of security and accuracy to eliminate the labor intensive and error-prone manual techniques associated with most traditional audits.

Recall announced that its RFID program is now available for individual cartons, files and media tapes. Enabling rapid and accurate inventorying, Recall can scan and audit more than 300 cartons in less than 30 seconds.

RFID helps Recall support compliance regulations, including regional Privacy Acts, as well as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), by providing customers with audit reports that confirm and validate the location of every RFID carton stored.

Corporations and institutions can further leverage RFID technology to store, protect, manage and retrieve, on-demand, their critical information, with an added layer of document management efficiency and accuracy. Additionally, Recall reduces the cost of inventorying procedures by enabling comprehensive audits to be performed in a fraction of the time and with better accuracy. [end]
