Clavis awarded contract for RFID system

Clavis Technologies has inked a deal with SKC Inc., a Korean producer of films for displays, optical films, solar cells, and environmentally-friendly products, to develop a RFID-based product management system for its products.

Clavis will perform consulting services to optimize the system combination between SKC’s existing product management and RFID system. After consulting, this system may be extended for supply chain management as well.

SKC selected a film factory in Jinchoen for this project and plans to expand this system for other film factories based on the results. [end] 

The Department of Defense’s Biometrics Identity Management Agency (BIMA) has exercised the second option year with modifications on the Ideal Innovations Inc. (I-3) Technology Management task order under the Biometrics Operations and Support Services – Unrestricted (BOSS-U) contract. The cumulative value of the contract is now $30.5 million.

Clavis Technologies, a South Korean provider of RFID solutions, has signed a memorandum of mnderstanding with Bizmodeline to jointly develop an “RFID-enabled Near Field Communications (NFC) business,” according to a release from Clavis.
