Nordic ID has partnered together with austrianmicrosystems to announce the latest in Nordic ID next generation ultra-high frequency RFID mobile computers, fixed RFID readers and RFID reader modules.
Enabled by austriamicrosystems’ AS3992 reader chip, the Nordic ID UHF RFID reader NUR-05W is the 500 milliwatt RFID module that drives the Nordic ID Morphic, Nordic ID Merlin and Nordic ID Sampo mobile computers and ID readers.
Nordic ID Morphic a Windows CE mobile device for data collection and voice communication purposes. The Nordic ID Merlin RFID Cross Dipole enables RFID reading from any angle at 4 meters or more, for as long as 28 hours on a single charge. The Nordic ID Sampo S1 is a mountable USB reader for interactive read/write RFID applications.
The AS3992 ultra-high frequency reader chip is an integrated analog front-end and data framing system for a 900 MHz RFID reader system. Additional built-in programming options make it suitable for a wide range of applications in RFID systems. ![[end]](/resources/bullet/rfidnews-4.gif)
