Systech, Zetes teams to address Europe's pharmaceutical requirements

Thursday, September 1, 2011

Systech International and Zetes announced their partnership to provide pharmaceutical manufacturers with service and support required to meet Europe’s emerging regulatory requirements.

Under the partnership, Zetes will sell, install and support Systech’s Serialized Product Tracking (SPT) solution throughout Europe allowing pharmaceutical companies to meet various serialization needs and address Europe’s track and trace regulatory requirements.

Using RFID tags and 1-D/2-D bar codes, Systech’s serialization solution enables track and trace, ePedigree and authentication. The system obtains EPC serial numbers and assigns them to items, cases and pallets, establishing parent-child relationships for each.

Systech’s Serialized Product Tracking supports EPC Global Standards and solution integrates into existing packaging operations to help manufacturers meet regulatory requirements and protect products throughout the supply chain. All Systech products and applications are standards-based 21CFR Part 11, cGMP, and GAMP compliant. [end]
