Tuesday, August 30, 2011

Traak Systems has achieved GS1 UK accreditation and certification for its RFID asset management solution. The GS1 UK is a part of the global GS1 organization dedicated to the development and implementation of global data standards and solutions for the supply chain, and promoting the use of the EPCglobal standards for RFID solutions.

Traak’s asset management solution offers many features to demanding users across many industries. The scalable solution can be supplied as an appliance (traakR appliance) or as a managed service (ONtraak managed service).

With support for the EPCglobals standards application level events and low level reader protocol, the Traak solution offers straightforward integration into industry standard RFID infrastructures. It also offers zone based counting and charting, giving a real-time view of assets which can be viewed on the floor plan.

Historical replay is included which allows for movements of assets and alerts to be analyzed at a later date. In addition, built-in PDF reports, search and filtering features are provided together with event cloud and heat map visualizations. [end]
