Invotech has expanded its presence in the Macau casino hotel market with the installation of its RFID-based GIMS linen and uniform tracking system at the new Sheraton, Shangri-La, St. Regis and Traders branded properties.
Once implemented, InvoTech’s GIMS inventory system will automatically track more than 125,000 uniforms for approximately 10,500 employees, as the items move from uniform departments to employees and laundries.
Invotech’s GIMS Uniform Systems have already been put to good use - tracking over 165,000 uniforms for nearly 14,000 employees - at Venetian Macau Resort Hotel, MGM Grand Macau, Wynn Macau, Altira Macau, Four Seasons Macau, and Plaza Casino Macau.
In Macau, the GIMS laundry system with RFID is also used at laundries which interface with the GIMS systems at the hotels and casinos to enables a more complete means of tracking inventory, as well as automated billing to their customers. ![[end]](/resources/bullet/rfidnews-4.gif)
