Queralt Inc. becomes the newest member in the DASH7 Alliance

Queralt has joined an become the newest member in the DASH7 Alliance, the non-profit consortium promoting the use of the ISO 18000-7 standards for wireless RFID and sensor networking.

Queralt will have access to and work with more than 50 member organizations around the world working together to advance development of the DASH7 standard as well as integrate DASH7 technology into its latest global products.


The company will also have access to the latest DASH7 specifications, working group activities, and opportunities to exchange ideas and insights among various member groups in similar and varying vertical markets.

Furthermore, DASH7 technology will be implemented into Queralt’s current framework and applications designed for people tracking and high value security application solutions. [end] 

The Open Standard for Public Transport (OSPT) Alliance announced that austriamicrosystems has joined as a full member.

Since joining the OSPT Alliance, austriamicrosystems will have access to the CIPURSE open standard specification, leveraging its experience into embedded systems for mobile fare collection applications. The open standard promotes vendor neutrality and cross-vendor system interoperability with reduced technology adoption risks, higher quality and improved market responsiveness.

The Open Standard for Public Transport (OSPT) Alliance announced that SMARTRAC has joined the OSPT Alliance as a full member.

As the newest member, SMARTRAC will participate in the Alliance’s activities around the development of next-generation transit fare collection systems based on the CIPURSE open security standard. The CIPURSE open security standard addresses the need by transit authorities for future-proof fare collection systems with more advanced security than currently in use.

SecureRF Corporation has joined the DASH7 Alliance in its efforts to promote the use of the ISO 18000-7 standard for wireless sensor networking.

As the newest member of the DASH7 Alliance, SecureRF will work with participating companies to advance the development of security methods and standards for the DASH7 wireless sensor networking standard.
