Thursday, June 16, 2011

Hilcorp Energy Company, headquartered in Houston, has begun using FileTrail’s RFID-based records management solution to track and manage their files.

With 125 employees, the FileTrail solution has made checking files at Hilcorp easier than previous implementations, which used manual processes including a pen and paper on a clipboard kept in the facility’s file room.

The new FileTrail system enables personnel to define folders and boxes, assign destruction dates, and better manage the check-in and check-out functions.

The end result is streamlined business processes and no more clipboards. Also, the margin for error and misplaced files is reduced dropped saving the company time and money. [end]
