WinWare partners with Choctaw Renewable Services on tool tracking

WinWare Inc. announced collaboration with Choctaw Renewable Services (CRS) utilizing the WinWare’s CribMaster inventory management system as a component in the WindBed, a RFID mobile tool control solution.

The WindBed is a fully-equipped, self-contained service vehicle designed for owners and contractors to enhance tool availability and accountability in the oil, gas, wind energy, manufacturing, mining, and power generation industries.

The CribMaster software contains the functionality needed to manage many types of indirect material, from tooling, spare parts inventory, PPE, MRO. Information including when a tool was removed, who used it, and when it was returned are all monitored with the CribMaster inventory management system.

If a tool does go missing the RFID tool control system reduces search time to locate the tool and reduces costly production delays. [end]
