DAILY RFID releases tamper-evident RFID tag for jewelry security

DAILY RFID released its latest RFID solution for jewelry inventory and security monitoring throughout all points in the supply chain: a tamper-evident 13.56 MHz high frequency tag,

This high frequency tag is designed with a sensitive electric wire to hang on the jewelry item so that once the wire is removed or broken the tag will no longer operate. Alerts are sent to shop owners and responsible personnel in real time as to whether jewelry was tampered with or lost.


The disposable tag is compatible with ISO 15693 or ISO 14443A/B standard, the 13.56MHz HF tags can be detected within a maximum read range of 40 cm basing on different RFID readers.

Made of ABS material, the RFID tag is waterproof and dustproof and is suited for fields to enhance the safety such as jewels, inventoried products, electronic equipment and other retail products. [end] 

GAO RFID Asset Tracking announced an ultra-high frequency Gen 2 RFID reader with 4-port read and 4-port listen.

This RFID reader, operating at the frequency range of 902 to 928 MHz, reads Gen 2 compatible transponders at a maximum distance of up to 7 meters or more. It also offers communication interfaces including Ethernet TCP/ IP, DHCP and HTTPS for data exchange.
