Intelleflex launches monitoring solution for cold supply chain

Thursday, November 18, 2010

Intelleflex introduced two new additions to its product family with the new announcement of the HMR-9090 handheld reader and the FMR-6000 fixed reader.

Working in tandem with Intelleflex tags the new readers enable wireless on-demand, product-level monitoring for perishable and pharmaceutical cold supply chains. Producers, shippers, distributors and retailers are able to monitor product freshness and quality on-demand, on fully loaded pallets or totes.

The suite of products provide the ability to read at distances of up to 100 meters and endure challenging environments that include metals, liquids and inside packages and containers.

Utilizing Intelleflex XC3 Technology, the readers are based on the ISO/IEC 18000-6 and EPCglobal C1G2 RFID multi-protocol standards and are designed for temperature monitoring, asset tracking and other applications. [end]
