Visonic Technologies unviels wandering patient solution

Visonic Technologies announced the immediate availability of its Elpas Door Kit Wandering Patient Starter Solution, designed for senior care facilities, assisted living residences, acute care hospitals or psychiatric units.

Issuing a reusable wristband, the Elpas system allows the resident free and unregulated movement within the allowed interior area of the building. It reduces the need to continuously supervise residents or restrict their mobile independence.

Should a resident approach the door through which they are not allowed to pass unescorted, near-exit alert functionalities will auto-trigger and alert staff immediately.

The Elpas Door Kit comes with everything needed to install a single-door, wandering patient solution and is internationally safety compliant and is CE, FCC and IC approved. [end]
