EarthSearch Communications, an ECDC Company, announced the welcoming of Darden Communications Consultants Inc. as one of its newest channel partners and an authorized dealer for its line of RFID and GPS solutions.

Darden Communications Consultants Inc. is a privately owned and operated communications solution provider for transportation companies throughout the U.S. Its product portfolio includes GPS tracking and fleet management solutions.

This new partnership will ultimately enable Darden Communications Consultants to introduce to Logiboxx, ECDC’s flagship product, to its current and future clients.

Logiboxx integrates GPS and RFID at the hardware level, and when combined with its proprietary global asset tracking and identification system it enables continuous visibility within the supply chain, logistics, and asset management and control industries. It enables logistics managements and operation centers real-time data to know precisely where all tagged assets, vehicles and personnel are located.

EarthSearch inks deal to curb oil theft, Nigeria

EarthSearch Communications has entered into a partnership agreement with Cynox, the Nigerian technology solutions provider, to monitor fuel levels in oil tankers.

In Nigeria, the cancellation of government oil subsidies has lead to increasing concerns over oil theft. EarthSearch’s integrated RFID and GPS product, together with level sensor technology will be used to monitor sudden drops in fuel level to detect the unauthorized siphoning of oil from the top of tanker.

EarthSearch inks $5 million deal, expands offerings in China

EarthSearch Communications has signed a letter of intent with ZST Digital Networks, China-based provider to local logistics and transportation companies, to offer its LogiBoxx integrated GPS and RFID solution in the Greater China market.

U.S. alcohol beverage company taps EarthSearch

A major U.S. alcohol beverage company has selected EarthSearch LogiBoxx integrated technology for managing its cargo and logistics operations.

The solution includes a mobile LogiBoxx device with integrated GPS and RFID technology that can be issued to any third party truck carrier contracted to transport cargo. Company trailers are also equipped with an EarthSearch proprietary RFID trailer identification device.

ECDC delivers tracking and security products to Komtelekom

East Coast Diversified Corporation announced delivery of its EarthSearch Communications wireless communication products to Russia telecommunications provider, Komtelekom.

The integrated system provides real-time data about the state of cargo and the truck, including monitoring pickup and drop-off times, verifying accuracy of shipments and alerting as to whether trucks or cargo have been tampered with or stolen.

EarthSearch expands mobile development to assist the visual impaired

EarthSearch has expanded its new mobile division with the development of a mobile app designed to assist visually impaired individuals to navigate workplace facilities using RFID technology.
