Intelligent Global Pooling Systems (iGPS) announced today that Sunny Delight Beverages Co. will begin shipping its products throughout the U.S. on iGPS’ all-plastic pallets with embedded RFID tags.

In addition to being RFID and bar code-enabled, iGPS pallets 100% recyclable, weigh 30% less than standard wooden pallets, and are fire-retardant. Unlike wood pallets, iGPS pallets do not absorb liquids that can cross-contaminate food and they cannot harbor wood-boring insects, which have seriously damaged North American forests. [end]
