AssetPulse has completed the deployment of its oil and gas industry solution, AssetGather for Oil & Gas, at key locations in the U.S., Africa and Middle East.
The solution includes rugged RFID tags and application software to enable oil and gas organizations to have a better view of their assets. And provides insight into the utilization, allocation, maintenance and regulatory testing of each of those assets.
The AssetGather solution combines RFID technologies, active and passive, mobile and fixed, which can be paired along with GPS, GPRS devices for real-time asset tracking at multiple locations. Additionally, the AssetGather system can be configured to send out alerts to notify users whenever maintenance is due or delayed for equipment.
The system is used to track a variety of oil field equipment - such as electronic isolation valves, metal containers and baskets - each having its own use case and process life cycle.
AssetPulse’s rugged RFID tags support high-temperature, high-pressure down-hole applications and can be embedded inside rubber, silicone, ceramic or metal. They can be mounted using steel bands or cables, tie-wraps, bolts or by using standard adhesives. ![[end]](/resources/bullet/rfidnews-4.gif)
