By the end of June the country of Kenya will require importers, exporters, clearing agents and transporters to comply with a new regulation requiring use of electronic tracking devices with all cargo shipments.
Hi-G-Tek, Inc., a provider of wireless sensing solutions that monitor and capture real time location, security, and condition information about cargo and assets, worked together with Navisat Telematics to complete the implementation of Kenya’s electronic cargo tracking system.
The Hi-G-Tek’s system allows for monitoring not only at the level of the truck, but also at the level of the individual containers or cargo components themselves.
