EarthSearch unveils LogiBoxx

EarthSearch Communications announced the launch of an intelligent GPS that communicates wirelessly with passive and active RFID devices – coined the LogiBoxx.

LogiBoxx enables real-time tracking and management of individual assets by wirelessly communicating with passive RFID readers, LogiBoxx Certified active RFID tags, and proprietary electronic radio frequency seals and locks.


LogiBoxx uses its built-in business logic and intelligence to enable immediate action when certain anomalies occur with RFID tagged assets, no matter whether in transit or at rest.

The new launch of LogiBoxx aims to enable businesses worldwide to improve asset management, prevent shrinkage and theft, provide safety and security, increase productivity, and deliver real-time, continuous visibility of the supply chain. [end] 

EarthSearch announced order delivery of the LogiBoxx real-time management solution to iFleet for monitoring of oil tankers in the nation of Tanzania.

EarthSearch’s LogiBoxx paired with its RFSeal locks, are used to secure the tank dispenser and monitor the removal of oil content from the tanker. The LogiBoxx communicates wirelessly with the RFSeal to determine and validate location where oil is being dispensed. The system can be used to determine the type of oil or gas that is being dispensed and at what destination, to validate product delivery to correct gas or pump stations.

A major U.S. alcohol beverage company has selected EarthSearch LogiBoxx integrated technology for managing its cargo and logistics operations.

The solution includes a mobile LogiBoxx device with integrated GPS and RFID technology that can be issued to any third party truck carrier contracted to transport cargo. Company trailers are also equipped with an EarthSearch proprietary RFID trailer identification device.

EarthSearch announced that it has shipped products on purchase orders from its Ghanaian partner MultiPlant for oil tanker monitoring and other logistics solutions.

To stabilize gas prices, the Ghanaian government reimburses oil companies delivering to the interiors of the country, which would not otherwise get services due to the cost of delivering to those regions.The Ghanaian government will deploy EarthSearch’s integrated LogiBoxx RF GPS device to prevent fraudulent claims for payment by oil distributors.

EarthSearch Communications has entered into a partnership agreement with Cynox, the Nigerian technology solutions provider, to monitor fuel levels in oil tankers.

In Nigeria, the cancellation of government oil subsidies has lead to increasing concerns over oil theft. EarthSearch’s integrated RFID and GPS product, together with level sensor technology will be used to monitor sudden drops in fuel level to detect the unauthorized siphoning of oil from the top of tanker.
