Translogik signs RFID Chile distribution agreement

Translogik and RFID Chile recently signed a distribution agreement to provide real time monitoring solutions to the South American mining industry.

Under the agreement Translogik’s off the road tire pressure monitoring system will be combined with RFID Chile’s mining applications to provide a real-time OTR tire temperature and pressure management solutions to the South American mining industry.


Access to accurate, reliable, real-time temperature and pressure data will allow the mine operator to minimize replacement costs and breakdowns which adversely affect production levels.

Initially, Translogik and RFID Chile plan to fit three off the road tire pressure management systems to Komatsu 830E dumper trucks fitted with 57 inch tires. [end] 

EarthSearch Communications has entered into a partnership agreement with Cynox, the Nigerian technology solutions provider, to monitor fuel levels in oil tankers.

In Nigeria, the cancellation of government oil subsidies has lead to increasing concerns over oil theft. EarthSearch’s integrated RFID and GPS product, together with level sensor technology will be used to monitor sudden drops in fuel level to detect the unauthorized siphoning of oil from the top of tanker.
