Inova unveils a new handheld for increased flexibility

Inova Technology’s wholly-owned subsidiary, RightTag, announced the availability of a hand-held, lightweight, battery operated unit - the mi-UHF - that has three built-in readers.

The three-in-one reader offers increased flexibility with its support for magnetic cards, RFID technology, and both 2D and 1D bar codes.


The mi-UHF reader supports 1D and 2D bar codes and any Gen2 RFID tag. Additionally, it can read triple track IntelliHead, with Automatic Gain Control and a wide range of card swipe speeds.

Adding to the flexibility, the mi-UHF also features a quad-brand GSM/EGPRS modem for real-time transfer of data to a RightTag web portal, providing live data feeds through standard web services. [end]
