Airbus extends Auto-ID, RFID services contract

OATSystems, a division of Checkpoint Systems, announced that Airbus has extended its contract for OATSystems’ Auto-ID & RFID software services for an additional three years.

Airbus originally paired with OATSystems in 2008 to provide a multi-million dollar, multi-year Auto-ID software platform.


In its initial two-year agreement Airbus deployed OATSystems’ software platform, which is now a part of the Airbus Auto-ID standard corporate architecture.

During this time, OATSystems also delivered variety of solutions to help Airbus streamline operations across supply chain, manufacturing and assembly domains. [end] 

Accurate Biometric announced it has been awarded a contract from the FBI for its Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS).

The contract is a significant one for Accurate as it enables them to offer same-day FBI fingerprint submission services for criminal background checks to clients such as housing authorities, Indian reservations and banks.

Zebra and Checkpoint Systems have entered into a cooperative relationship and licensing agreement. While the exact terms of the transaction were not disclosed, the relationship does bring together Zebra’s active location solutions with Checkpoint division OATSystems’ passive RFID, auto-ID and sensor capabilities.
