Emerson & Cuming launch Web site for MetalTag product line

Emerson & Cuming Microwave Products announced the launch of a new website for hosting its MetalTag product line.

The site, located at RFIDMetalTag.com, is intended to cure the common problems associated with high frequency and ultra high frequency tagging.


Equipped with product information, as well as a technical database, the site will serves as an online resource for those in search of quality RFID solutions. Officials from Emerson & Cuming say that the research and development that went into the site should serve as a simple product selector guide for visitors.

It offers numerous designs and customizable components that can all endure a wide range of industry applications including manufacturing, supply chain, IT assets, oil and gas and general asset tracking. [end] 

Sprint Nextel has announced that it will make NFC a standard feature on Long Term Evolution (LTE) smart phones, reports Light Reading Mobile.

Sprint, a launch partner of Google Wallet, told LR Mobile that they will include NFC chips in all LTE smart phones, excluding free phones and low end models, in order to “aggressively promote contactless technology.”
