American Barcode and RFID join Zebra's partner program

Zebra Enterprise Solutions, a division of Zebra Technologies announced that American Barcode and RFID (AB&R) has joined its partner program.

AB&R, technology integrator of automatic identification and data collection solutions to help manage and track assets, mobilize workforce and secure workplaces. A partner of Zebra Technologies’ Specialty Printing Group since 2003, the company is extending its relationship to Zebra and will now offer active radio-frequency identification and ultra-wide band technology.

By joining the Zebra partner program, AB&R plans to integrate a broader range of technology solutions with its existing offerings – providing Real-Time Locations Systems to its clients with a need for tracking high-value assets internally. [end] 

Zebra and Checkpoint Systems have entered into a cooperative relationship and licensing agreement. While the exact terms of the transaction were not disclosed, the relationship does bring together Zebra’s active location solutions with Checkpoint division OATSystems’ passive RFID, auto-ID and sensor capabilities.
