GAO releases new injectable animal tag

GAO RFID has announced the release of its new passive RFID tag designed for use in animal tracking.

The transparent, bio-glass tag is water proof and resistant to immersion in salt water, alcohol, oil 10% HCL and ammonia. Users inject the small, light-weight tag directly into animals via a syringe.

The ISO 11784/5 compliant tag supports data coding types including Manchester, PSK, FSK, Biphase and NRZ. [end]
