Guard, Dynamic form distribution agreement

Monday, June 15, 2009

Guard Solutions Inc., a producer of RFID solutions for health care and enterprise applications headquartered in Canada, has formed a distribution agreement with Michigan-based Dynamic RFID Solutions, a systems integrator and RFID-based solutions provider. The agreement will provide a new distribution channel for Guard’s RFID applications, including its infant protection, patient protection and asset tracking solutions.

A spokesperson for Dynamic RFID said in a statement that the decision to enter into the agreement with Guard was clinched by Guard’s ability to scale out its solutions in seamless manner, adding new RFID applications with relatively little complication, as well as Guard’s ability to offer diagnostics and maintenance through its fully IP-based approach.

Guard’s infant protection solution, the TotGuard Infant Security system, offers a feature to this growing industry segment; the system deploys disposable tags, removing the need for sterilization after use and the possibility of cross-contamination between newborns. The system also offers a specially-designed dual tampering detection mechanism, which decreases false alarms.

Dynamic RFID Solutions is a subsidiary of IT systems integrator Dynamic Computer Corporation. [end]
