GAO debuts new version of interrogator card

GAO RFID Inc., the Canadian RFID technology provider, has released a new version of its compact flash (CF) RFID interrogator card. The updated version of the card (GAO product number GAO10227002) deploys a new anti-collision algorithm which enables it identify up to 2,000 RFID tags simultaneously.

When working with specific RFID tag designs, the new CF card offers a read range of up to 300 feet. The card has also been proven to be reliable in the identification of fast moving tags. Built-in software enables effective and efficient processing of data, firmware updates and tag communications.

The long-range card is designed for applications including identification, tracking and tracing, and localization of assets or people. The card can be integrated with laptops, mobile computers, and handheld devices. [end]
