Radio Frequency Identification Technology for Logistics, Tagging and EPC

Mojix, SRA International target government organizations

Wednesday, April 29, 2009

RFID developer Mojix has announced a partnership with SRA International Inc., a provider of technology solutions and strategic consulting to government organizations and commercial clients. The partnership’s focus will be the marketing of RFID-enabled solutions to government organizations.

SRA brings to the partnership experience working with government supply chains. The firm has provided military clients with automated asset visibility and management solutions, working to streamline the deployment process, lower cost and reduce the logistics footprint.

Mojix, a California-based firm founded in 2004 by a team of former NASA rocket scientists, introduced the Mojix STAR (SpaceTime Array Reader) RFID system last year. The STAR system uses digital signal processing and a flexible new RFID systems architecture to expand the capabilities and decrease the expense of conventional RFID deployments. Mojix hopes the partnership with SRA will provide opportunities to introduce the STAR technology into government supply chain systems. [end]
