iDTRONIC premieres BlueBox reader/writer

iDTRONIC, the German provider of RFID hardware solutions, has introduced its Bluebox professional line of industrial reader/writers. The readers, designed specifically for industrial applications, are completely sealed against water and dust intrusions.


The new devices are available with an internal antenna or with one or two external antennas, offer four digital I/O Ports to enable connection with multiple sensors, and come in special Mid-Range & Long Range versions to enable optimized reading distances. The BlueBox reader has an integrated interface for RS232/RS485, Ethernet or ProfiBus for fast and secure data transfers.

The new reader/writers are part of iDTRONIC’s professional Bluebox product family, which includes a portfolio of high panel-, sensor- and on-metal antennas. The Bluebox product family is designed for industrial, warehouse, asset tracking, laundry and identification applications. [end]
