Version 3.4 of You-R Open supports Microsoft Vista, making it compatible with all current versions of MS workstations and servers. The platform has a new command line tool integrated into its Administration Suite, which makes the management of larger RFID installations easier and more efficient. The updated version offers an RF-Power configuration for all integrated RFID devices, and has an expanded list of fully-supported end devices to work with.

You-R Open’s new version also provides a solution for selective reading of UHF Gen2 transponders. With the expanded read range of these transponders, the possibility of unintentionally reading the incorrect transponder in an application has increased; the 3.4 version addresses that issue with this selectivity option.
