OTA announces internship program

Friday, March 13, 2009 in News

OTA Training LLC, a Dallas-based firm offering training programs in RFID technology, has announced the addition of paid internships to their roster of training opportunities. The internships, which last a minimum of three weeks, are available as an optional add-on to OTA’s four day RFID+ certification program.

The paid internship positions are with firms including KayPat, AARFID, Bentonville International Group and OnAsset. In a statement, OTA CEO Robert Sabella touted the internship program as a good opportunity for the participating firms, as well as the interns, as it gives companies a “try before you buy” option for prospective employees.

Currently, the internships are available only in the Dallas area, but OTA plans to expand the program into other regions during 2009. The expansion of the program is presumably dependent on partnerships with RFID industry firms in a region. [end]
