RFID infrastructure provider Tagsys has named Alain Fanet its new Chief Executive Officer.

Fanet co-founded and served as CEO of Arteris, a global semi-conductor system-on-chip design firm. He was also co-founder and president of T.sqware Inc., a network processing firm later purchased by Globespan Virata. He recently served as the president of the European Technology Tour Association, an organization that helps young technology companies expand internationally.
