Daily RFID launches document management solution

Thursday, January 22, 2009 in News

China’s Daily RFID has introduced a new UHF RFID-enabled document management solution. The system integrates RFID smart labels and multi-tag RFID readers to enable efficient tracking and management of documents.

The new solution places adhesive UHF RFID labels on each document. The labels have a long-range readability of up to 5 to 6 meters and can be rewritten over 100,000 times. They support protocols ISO 18000-6B or ISO/IEC 18000-6C / EPC Class 1 Gen 2, and will be available for around 32 cents each.

Daily RFID recommends the use of its UHF RFID Reader DL910 in the system. The reader’s anti-collision capabilities enables the automatic reading of large numbers of documents, even when stacked in piles, and its 12 meter read range can make it easier to locate documents even if they are stored in the wrong location. [end]
