Monday, January 12, 2009 in News

Canadian RFID hardware provider GAO RFID has announced the availability of a new RFID portal appliance series. The series (GAO 216006-s, 216006-D, 216006-ES3, 216006-ES4) offers five different portal configurations, all containing a GAO 216004 Enterprise Reader and two or more circular antennas.

The portals feature relatively quick and easy installation along with convenient access to AC power, LAN and accessory connections through a removable plate on the top of the body. The basic portal design consists of a durable steel chassis housing RFID electrics and optional accessories, a high impact industrial plastic cover, a steel kick-plate and a secure steel base-plate. [end]
