UPM Raflatac introduces 48 hour shipment service

Thursday, January 8, 2009 in News

RFID tag and inlay provider UPM Raflatac has promised it will soon ship many of its products within 48 hours of an order being placed. The 48 hour shipment window will apply to a selection of the Finnish firm’s HF and UHF inlays and tags.

The quick turn-around on orders is partially a result of a recent expansion of UPM Raflatac’s production capabilities. A manufacturing facility was opened in China in late 2008, joining plants in Europe and North America and a service network spanning five continents.

With the promise of rapid deliveries, “our customers don’t have to worry about tying up too much capital for storing large amounts of RFID tags. Instead they can rely on the availability of UPM Raflatac’s RFID products based on occurring needs,” says Marcus Vaenerberg, vice president of sales for UPM Raflatac, RFID. [end]
