Fluensee, PC Guardian partner for security solution

Fluensee, a provider of RFID-enabled asset management software, has teamed up with PC Guardian, a maker of IT asset security management hardware. The two companies will cooperate to launch a set of RFID-enabled IT asset management security solutions in early 2009.


Under the partnership, PC Guardian will incoroporate Fluensee’s RFID software solutions into its hardware offerings. The addition of RFID technology will enable real-time tracking, monitoring, and information about the physical movements of a company’s IT assets.

Spokesmen for both companies expressed excitement about the partnership and promised more detailed information about the prospective security solution set soon. [end] 

AOptix Technologies announced that SITA, a specialist in air transport communications and information technology, has joined the AOptix Value Added Reseller program.

Under the partnership, SITA, who has customers in more than 200 countries which includes 300 airport locations, would be able to offer its customers AOptix solutions. These offerings include the InSight iris and face recognition product as an automated solution for airports to quickly and securely identify passengers at security checkpoints with documents such as biometric-enabled passports.
