A spokesperson for Azcar, which specializes in high definition digital media technology solutions for clients in a variety of industries, including broadcast companies, educational institutions, and sports and entertainment venues, points to NJE’s experience in many aspects of the RFID industry as a reason for the purchase. The two companies had worked together previous on several projects, according to Azcar CEO Stephen Pumple.

NJE, previously headquarter in British Columbia, will function as a division of the Azcar parent company. It will continue its operations in Western Canada but expand its presence eastward and into the U.S. market.
