Solicore announces new COO, distribution deal
Solicore, maker of embedded power solutions for a variety of technologies including RFID, has announced two moves intended to increase the company’s market presence. With a new chief operating officer with a background in developing new business markets and a distribution deal to increase their market share in Eastern Europe, Solicore hopes to grow the market exposure of its flagship product, the ultra-thin Flexion battery line.
Solicore has named Daniel J. Tillwick as the company’s new COO. Tillwick is an industry veteran with a background in chemical engineering and business. Over a twenty year career, he has a history of managing rapid manufacturing and operations growth at a number of companies. His previous employers include Jabil Circuit, Tracewell Systems, and Zimmer Packaging.
Solicore has also announced a distribution deal with Ineltro Electronics GmbH, an Austrian electronics components supplier. The agreement will leverage Ineltro’s extensive customer base in expanding the distribution of the Flexion battery in Austria, Croatia and Slovenia. ![[end]](/resources/bullet/rfidnews-4.gif)
