Daily RFID launches wristband solution for hospitals

Chinese RFID developer Daily RFID Co. Ltd. has introduced a Gen 2 RFID wristband with ISO 18000-6 compliant inlays. The wristband is designed for health care applications such as tracking patients, especially newborns, in hospital settings.

The wristbands are constructed of 100% non-allergenic silicon, a comfortable and hygienic material. Read distances for the tags vary based on body type, ranging from a maximum of 8.8 feet to a minimum of 4.2 feet. Two American companies teamed with DAILY RFID to produce the solution. [end]
