Solicore names RFID veteran VP of sales

Embedded power solutions provider Solicore has appointed a veteran of the RFID industry to the position of vice president of sales and strategic accounts. The company expects that David Eagleson, who brings with him 20 years’ experience in sales management in enterprise software and automatic identification-based solutions, will assist in the market penetration of Solicore’s ultra-thin Flexion batteries.


Eagleson most recently served as senior vice president of sales for RFID Global Solution. Prior to that he was the senior director of business development for Symbol, now a part of Motorola, specializing in partner and channel strategy in market development of enterprise RFID systems. Eagleson began his involvement in the RFID industry with a pioneer of the technology, Matrics, which was later acquired by Symbol.

Solicore, based in Lakeland, Fla., specializes in embedded power solutions with its Flexion product family of lithium polymer batteries for powered cards, RFID and micro medical devices. Solicore bills its advanced battery technology as ultra-thin, flexible, safe and environmentally friendly. [end]
