Intellident acquires French firm Ident

Monday, October 20, 2008

UK-based Intellident, a division of the LINPAC Group, has completed the acquisition of the French firm Ident. The purchase, for an undisclosed cash amount, extends Intellident’s European operations throughout the UK, France, the Netherlands, Romania and into North Africa.

With the acquisition, Ident joins Intellident as a part of the LINPAC Group, an international packaging and supply chain provider, and will retain its own name for the foreseeable future. Ident specializes in the supply of electronic article surveillance security systems and RFID solutions for document and asset tracking to libraries, archive centers, law firms and museums, with over 200 systems installed. The addition of Ident’s customer base gives Intellident a roster of over 600 library installations to its name. [end]
