TrigPoint Solutions offer tracking solutions for oil and gas drilling
TrigPoint Solutions Inc. announced that it has reached an agreement to provide TrigPoint’s PROMPTT SYSTEM to Helmerich & Payne International Drilling Company for the identification, tagging, recording, tracking and management of assets across their drilling operations.
PROMPTT is a modern-day field asset execution tool for oil and gas drilling and service contractors using RFID technology to ensure compliance with corporate tracking, preventative maintenance, certification and safety procedures.
The system is an automated and paperless asset and operations management system. TrigPoint combines RFID technology, ruggedized mobile handheld devices and front-end and back-end applications to deliver a deployable system that is effective and user-friendly.
RFID tags permanently attach to rig assets to validate proof-of-presence. Ruggedized mobile hand-held devices direct users to physically visit, verify, check and perform predetermined instructions against each of these assets. PROMPTT acts as a virtual instruction manual, guiding users through procedures and providing feedback on performance in real time.
