Radio Frequency Identification Technology for Logistics, Tagging and EPC

Syntag Manufacturing signs deal with the Peerless Chain Company

Friday, September 26, 2008 in News

Syntag Manufacturing LLC signed an agreement with the Peerless Chain Company to provide synthetic, durable RFID Chain Tags. RFID Chain tags provide an electronic interface via an internal radio transponder to computer driven inspection systems and asset tracking programs.

The Syntag product is a patent pending engineered composite material that overcomes the radio frequency blocking effects of traditional steel ID tags without compromising the durability required in heavy construction and industrial service.

Indianapolis-based Syntag Manufacturing engineers and produces composite chain sling identification tags with RFID transponders. This patent pending product is ANSI B30.20 compliant and meets OSHA requirements for sling chain use.

This combination of synthetic materials and RFID technology solves many issues including traceability, corrosion resistance and flexibility. Additionally Syntag Mfg. offers RFID Identiplates for heavy service equipment and machinery. These products are used with third party inspection systems and asset tracking software programs. [end]
