McLane Advanced Technologies buys RFID Systems Inc.
Texas-based McLane Advanced Technologies LLC (MAT) has announced its purchase of another Texas firm, the software company RFID Systems Inc.
MAT, a provider of information technology and logistics services to government and commercial customers, has not disclosed the terms of the sale, beyond a plan to move all of RFID Systems operations to its Temple, Texas, headquarters.
RFID Systems Inc., which previously has operated as a part of Fusion Labs, creates logistics and distribution software solutions focusing on customer relationship management, supply chain management, warehouse management, and enterprise resource management, using a single open and flexible platform.
A representative of MAT indicated that the addition of RFID Systems’ software packages to the company’s product line has the potential to increase sales by a third. ![[end]](/resources/bullet/rfidnews-4.gif)
